Why are you running?
I'm running again because I care about Bastrop County and the people who live here. As a lifelong resident, I believe there's still important work to do and I want to keep building on what we have already started.
What is the most important issue facing residents, and how would you address it?
Growth is the biggest issue we are facing. Bastrop County is growing and we need to plan ahead so growth works for our community not against it.
If elected, how do you plan to address future growth?
By planning ahead and working together with other county departments and the cities, we can continue making smart decisions to make sure growth is handled in a way that protects the people of Bastrop County.
If elected, what would be your top three priorities?
If re-elected, my top priorities are financial responsibility, public safety and responsible growth. I'll continue to focus on watching the budget, supporting public safety and essential county services, and planning for growth in a way that serves our residents well.
